Concealed Carry While Concealed Carrying Is Not a Crime

There is a lot of confusion regarding the Governor’s Covid 19 mask mandate and the rights of gun owners to concealed carry while wearing the required mask.

Indiana law is silent on the issue of of concealed carry. Meaning, you can open carry (visible) or concealed carry at your discretion; provided you have a permit to do so. Wearing a face mask has no effect on this.

It’s not a felony, not a misdemeanor, not a crime of any sort.
